ECOTOXICOLOGY

Claude Fortin is a professor at the Eau Terre Environnement Centre of the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (a graduate university part of the University of Quebec network). Claude does research in Biogeochemistry, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Analytical Chemistry mostly linked to metal contamination of surface waters and their bioavailability to freshwater microorganisms. Current projects deal with “data-poor” metals such as those of the platinum group elements and rare earth metals.
